Find domains sharing the same IP address or subnet.Enter domain name, IP address (IPv4 and IPv6) or subnet.
Every IP address or subnet can host several domains (websites). Use this tool to find domains sharing the same IP address or subnet. It shows a maximum of 2,500 domains per IP address (depending on your membership type). For subnets it shows a maximum of 255 IP addresses. Just type a domain name, IP address or subnet and click the Go button. Both IPv4 and IPv6 addresses are supported. For the subnet view you have to type the subnet in the form of x.x.x for IPv4 subnets and x:x:x:x for IPv6 subnets.
Q: What is the difference in functionality between Free and Premium members?
A: The results for Free members are limited to 100 domains per IP. Premium members can view up to 2,500 domains per IP address and have the subnet view.
Q: How do you decide a domain is hosted on an IP address?
A: We first perform an A or AAAA lookup of the domain name. If we do not get an IP address back, we perform an A or AAAA lookup on the www record of the domain name. So for example we first try to resolve domain.com, if we do not get an IP address back we try to resolve www.domain.com.
Q: What subnets do you support?
A: For IPv4 addresses we support /24 subnets and for IPv6 addresses we support /64 subnets. You need to enter a subnet in the form of x.x.x (IPv4) or x:x:x:x (IPv6).
Q: How often do you resolve IP/DNS records for a domain?
A: Our DNS crawlers try to resolve every domain name once per month.
Q: How many domains do you have?
A: We have access to all gTLD (ex com, net, org) and nTLD (ex xyz, berlin, nyc) daily zone files. For ccTLD (ex de, fr, eu) our coverage is between 40% and 70% depending on the ccTLD.
Q: Is this tool available for all Top Level Domains?
A: Yes, the Domain Neighbors tool returns all domains.
